Choose Wisely, Live Healthy

Every month of July we celebrate the Nutrition Month and there's a theme annually for 2018. The theme is "Ugaliing magtanim, Sapat na Nutrisyon Aanihin!" This theme focuses on food production at home through the family's own garden because having food gardens can help improve the family as well as the community's food security. If you have plenty of vegetables or fruit crops you can even sell some to earn additional income for the family. Growing your own fruits and vegetables will save your money at the store. So each of the families should have their own garden to make sure that those fruits and veggies that your eating is fresh and organic because fresh fruits and vegetables have more nutrients compared to those that are not organically cultivated and staled. And if you buy in the grocery store you don't know if the fruits and vegetables are not fresh or not clean.

Healthy diet helps protect against malnutrition. It plays an important role in securing that we are free of any diseases and it also implies that observing a healthy diet will avoid us from malnutrition which is very common. Taking care of our health starts by creating a healthy diet plan. It all starts with making goals about having a healthy lifestyle and sticking to it. We can protect ourselves from getting diseases by simply starting a healthier way of living which means equipping ourselves about the importance of eating healthy foods and avoid junk foods . Each of us eating meat and processed foods. We need to learn to choose wisely to those foods we intake for our own sake. We will be the one who will be benefited from choosing a healthy diet and healthy foods. But healthy diet is not all about accompanying it with. And gardening increases physical activity and lets them help to take responsibility for the garden. This can be a great time to create memories with your family.
So we should start planting more fruits and vegetables and we should eat healthy foods to avoid malnutrition.
