State Of the Nation Address 2018

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte delivered his third State of the Nation Address (SONA) on July 23, 2018 at Quezon City. He delivered a speech of his accomplishments and his plans for th next few months of his tenure. SONA 2018 was delayed by an hour as advice of who will be seated beside President Duterte was not immediately finalized after Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo sworn as the new House SONA 2018 Forum. So the SONA proper started at 5:22 in the afternoon at 6:09 pm or longer by few minutes, due to some of the cuff remarks of the president. He mentioned first at the Batasang Pambansa on Monday, July 23. Is all about the drug war. He says it will be "rentless" and "as chilling as the day it began". Slams human rights groups for criticizing the anti-drug campaign. He also said that "If you think that I can be dissuaded from continuing this fight because of demonstrations, your protests, which I by the way find misdirected, then you got it all wrong.

Independence day is the time when us Filipinos claimed our freedom.The day when we are free to choose who is our rightful leader.The day that lives of our heroes were sacrificed for the sake of our freedom. June 12, annually, we Filipinos celebrate our day of Independence.Independence to choose a leader who will rule us. to speak out our ideas or freedom to talk.
